Ascensia Autodisc

Ascensia, a subsidiary of Bayer, distributes several different types of glucose meters for people with diabetes. They include the Ascensia BREEZE, Ascensia Contour, Ascensia DEX 2 Diabetes Care System, and the Ascensia ELITE (and ELITE XL) Diabetes Care System. Some of these meters use single test strips, but the Ascensia BREEZE and DEX 2 systems use the Ascensia AUTODISC.

The Ascensia AUTODISC is a small, round disc that holds 10 test strips. If you've ever fumbled with a tiny test strip, you'll appreciate the AUTODISC. It's very easy to insert into your BREEZE or DEX 2 meter. Older folks who have a hard time handling small objects may find this new system especially helpful, as will anyone with arthritis, Parkinson's, or other disorders that affect manual dexterity.
